King of Stones (Pentacles), The Devil, 4 of Scrolls (Swords)
Last month's energy may have felt like a bit of a transition or like a few important things came to light for you. With major astrological events and a shift to Cancer season, you may have felt that the month was bringing you along a journey, but you couldn't quite see the end of the tunnel. The energy this month may be a bit more stable but will urge you to continue the journey by taking a deeper look within.
As we move further into the heart of the summer, it seems that this month's energy will bring us deeper into our own hearts. The beginning of July finds us in the middle of Cancer season, which tends to be focused on family and relationships; however, it may also be a time when we are able to get in touch with our own emotions and core values on a deeper level. Cancer season this year may have felt especially impactful to some in the areas of personal growth, career, and finance due to some of the current astrological placements. If you had a breakthrough in one of these areas at the end of last month, expect to continue down that path.
At the beginning of the month, we have the energy of the King of Pentacles. In this deck, Pentacles are listed as Stones. This is a stable energy, which is much needed in a time when emotions can get the best of us. If you have been trying to make headway in your career or financial goals, this energy will help you. This King is abundant and has a keen sense for business and growth. This could show up as a positive return on your investments, meeting business or financial goals, or a friend with masculine energy helping to guide your path. It may be a newfound stability in a time when there has been turbulence. For some, this could even be better health or meeting certain health goals. However he shows up in your life, this is a good energy to balance out the energy of the season. There was a Full Moon in Capricorn on June 30th which aligns with this energy and this it will still be prominent in the first few days of July.
The middle of the month brings the energy of The Devil. There may be themes around independence or freedom from those things we feel bound to. With the beginning part of the month possibly having some focus on career, finance, or stability, the Devil in your life could be related to those areas. This energy can be very heavy but can also be deeply transformative as it may bring up some very personal revelations. Areas in your life where there are struggles with addiction, co-dependent relationships, or where your autonomy has been bound may come to the forefront for recognition. Whenever this card shows up in a reading, there is always an area in life or situation that is asking you to look closer to see if you are ready to take your power back or break free from the situation. On July 23rd, we also move into the sign of Leo, which has a focus on the sunnier side of independence. This will likely amplify this energy and help push the awakening.
We wrap the end of the month with the 4 of Swords energy, which is shown as Scrolls in this deck. This is the energy of rest, inner contemplation, and healing. After an energy that could bring change and shocking revelations comes the energy of integration. This energy will give you a chance to sit with what you have just learned and experienced and help you to process it and integrate it into your life if you choose to do so. This energy feels like the rainbow after the storm. Softer, sunny, and hopeful.
