Happy Birthday Cancer! Buckle up for another trip around the sun. This will forecast the entire Cancer season, no matter where your birthdate falls. If you have Cancer as your moon or rising sign, you may feel these energies as well. This season runs from June 21st to July 22nd. Let's take a look!
The Moon, 5 of Cups, Queen of Pentacles
You may have already been feeling a major shift the last couple of weeks as Jupiter entered Cancer on June 2nd. This is sure to set the tone for your upcoming year, bringing in luck, abundance, and expansion into your life. Get ready for these beautiful changes!
We start the season with the Moon, which is Cancerian energy. This is a deeply intuitive energy but also has a mysterious vibe as well. There may be secrets or truths revealed at this time. You may notice an increase in intuitive downloads, synchronicities, and heightened psychic abilities at this time as well. In the Northern Hemisphere, it is the Summer Solstice on June 21st, signifying the longest and/or brightest day of the year. With the Moon card showing up in this area, you may notice things coming to light or contrast in some areas of your life. All of this will feel very personal to you and where you are at in your journey as it is the card in the Tarot that represents you.
Towards the middle of the season, we have the 5 of Cups. This will continue the deeply emotional energy of the Moon, but it may be focusing on loss. For some, whatever was revealed in the beginning part of the season will be hard news to swallow, or there may be the feeling of despair. There could be loss or sadness, but there is also hope after a hard time, in this energy. This card can signify deeper healing and acceptance or a switch to focus on gratitude after the harder emotions have passed. Mercury will be going retrograde during this time, so some of this may be unresolved past issues coming to the surface to be revisited and released on a deeper level.
The Queen of Pentacles energy closes out the season. After all of those emotions come up, the Queen of Pentacles brings stability, grounding, and growth. This is a beautiful card to close out the season! It means that whatever was brought up needed to be resolved or worked through. Now it is time for self-care and to appreciate the abundance that will be coming in not only at the end of the season but in the following year ahead.
