To kick off the new year, we have the Page of Cups. The energy he brings is a whimsical, magical, creative energy. The type that is inspired by the start of a new cycle. New Year’s resolutions have been set, and we are all excited to start making progress. Pages often signify new beginnings, so it is the perfect energy to start off the year. This page also brings a message of hope. For those of us ready for a new start, this energy allows us to see the positives in making life changes and gives us the inspiration to keep heading towards our goal. Welcome to 2026!
Towards the middle of the month, things get a bit murky. This is a time where things may feel hidden or be suddenly revealed. This energy is also highly intuitive and deeply emotional. The number for the Moon card is 18. On January 18th, there is a new moon in Capricorn. This little synchronicity tells us to pay attention at this time, as the new moon may bring in something we need to know. Since the new moon is in the sign of Capricorn, it is also going to highlight those Capricorn traits such as discipline and structure. To harness that energy, double down on the goals you set and forge ahead with this new information!
To close out the month, we have the Emperor card, which is Aries energy. This energy carries some of the same traits of the Capricorn full moon forward but is backed by the fiery energy of being action-oriented, building a solid foundation, and having the courage to keep going when you feel like quitting. This is determination to get things done. Astrologically speaking, on January 26th, Neptune will enter Aries and will stay there until 2038 or 2039. We will all feel this shift to take notable actions after spending so much time in the dreamy realm of Pisces.
